Conventional Robotic Ladle
Rimrock's conventional robotic ladle is fully programmable and provides maximum versatility. Our robotic ladle increases consistency and produces higher quality castings while reducing scrap. Designed to work with a wide range of die cast machines, Rimrock's robotic ladle easily adapts to metal pouring operations as a flexible solution.
The conventional robotic ladle consists of a dipper, made from stainless steel or ceramic, with a fill slot that is rotated to a fill angle and dipped into the molten bath of an aluminum furnace. The fill angle, which is user selectable, determines the volume of metal to be poured. Sensor probes are provided to detect the metal level protecting the cup from damage. Ladle cups are available with both front and rear fill slots to accommodate different furnace configurations.
